Our New Shopping Protocols
The Village is momentarily closed in line with the latest government guidance.
You can still enjoy shopping the Village boutiques from the comfort of your own home with our Virtual Shopping service that will deliver direct to your door.
Simply browse the boutiques’ collections on our website. Then, contact the boutique directly by phone, email or WhatsApp to arrange your appointment.
We look forward to seeing you again soon and hope you stay safe and well.
Our first priority today is to protect the health and well being of our guests, the teams in the boutiques and restaurants, together with the wider community at Bicester Village. Following industry best practice and UK government guidance, we have introduced Shopping Protocols in the Village to ensure individual and collective responsibility to keep everyone as safe as possible.
Please see below our new code of conduct and Shopping Protocols to ensure guests and teams can continue to enjoy the experience whilst respecting the safety measures in place.
In line with the government guidelines face covering is strongly recommended in the Village and must be worn at all times inside the boutiques and restaurants unless seated at a table. Face covering is available for purchase at each Village entry gate.
All guests will have their temperature scanned on arrival, with the exception of children in pushchairs.
Scanned data is not recorded. You may decline a temperature scan by not entering the Village. For more information, please click here.
In line with goverment guidelines, we have introduced social-distancing measures of one metre or more between guests across the Village, boutiques, restaurants, contemplation room and other public spaces.
Due to our social-distancing policy, we will need to restrict the number of guests in any boutique at one time, this is in order to ensure both guests and boutique teams can maintain the appropriate distance. The number of guests per boutique will depend on the size of the boutique and/or the number of people in the boutique teams. The number of guests allowed per boutique will be marked on the door of the boutique. Due to this restriction you may need to wait before entering a boutique. We advise you to use our digital queuing system, where possible, to make the most of your time in the Village. For more information click here.
We have also introduced social distancing across all of our restaurants and food kiosks or popups again with a one metre or more distance at all times.
We have installed floor markers across the Village, in front of each boutique entrance and inside each boutique to ensure our guests and teams can respect the social-distancing policy at all times.
We are respectfully asking all guests to observe our social-distancing policy at all times and we will remind any guest who is not observing this policy that it is part of our Shopping Protocols and any consistent non-observation of social distancing could lead to a guest/guests being asked to leave the Village.
Deep Cleaning and Sanitisation Protocols
Before reopening, we have deep cleaned the Village including all backstage areas and all arrival zones.
We have introduced new deep-cleaning protocols across the Village, in the boutiques, in the restaurants, in the contemplation room and in all public spaces.
In addition, we will be regularly sanitising all surfaces in the Village, in the boutiques, in the restaurants, in the contemplation room and in all public spaces, including washrooms, throughout the day.
We are paying particular attention to the deep cleaning and sanitisation of all surfaces and touchpoints in our washrooms and baby-changing facilities.
Please note we may need to close an area to facilitate deep cleaning or sanitisation. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Increased cleaning schedules and deep cleaning are in place throughout the Village.
Hand Hygeine Protocols
We have hand-sanitiser stations across the Village. Hand-washing facilities with soap and hot water are also available throughout the Village in our washrooms. For hand-hygiene guidance, please click here. Please see our digital map on our website here or app for information on the location of these hand sanitiser stations and the locations of our wash rooms.
To avoid contact, please choose contactless and cashless payment options. The teams in each boutique and restaurant can advise you on how to do this.
Our restaurants and outdoor terraces are open for dining. All our food and beverage facilities are regularly sanitised and we are following a new code of conduct in line with government guidelines. All menus are now digital, so guests can browse online reducing any unnecessary contact. Please note due to the need to observe social distancing in restaurant kitchens and in the kiosks and pop-ups you may find that menus have been simplified and the number of dishes reduced; please click here for more information.
We recommend using our digital interactive map to find your way through the Village and to locate your favourite brands.
Increased deep cleaning and sanitisation schedules are in place throughout the Village daily. Hand sanitisers and hand-washing facilities with soap and hot water are also provided throughout the Village and can be located on our digital interactive map which can be found here. Each washroom area is monitored by an individual attendant.
In line with the government guidelines face covering is strongly recommended in the Village and must be worn at all times inside the boutiques and restaurants, unless seated at a table. Face covering is available for purchase at each Village entry gate.
If we feel there are too many guests in the Village, we may ask guests to wait outside the Village for a short moment in the interests of everyone’s safety and well being. We expect to be able to manage this guest flow as fluidly as possible.
We will be continuously monitoring the number of guests in the village at any one time to ensure guests have the space to observe social-distancing requirements.
Due to thermal scanning procedures, it may take you a little longer than normal to enter the Village. Thank you in advance for your patience.
