With a career that’s so far spanned George Clooney’s Catch 22 and soon to be released Netflix series The Irregulars, up-and-coming actor Harrison Osterfield is off to a flying start. We caught up with him at home…

What are you working on at the moment?

"I've been shooting a new Netflix series called The Irregulars since September. It's a new Sherlock Holmes series set in the Victorian era where I play the Prince of England. We were due to finish this month, however we've still got two weeks left to shoot."

What is your favourite film of all time?

"Hard to choose, but probably one of these: The Dark Knight, Whiplash and Thunder Road."

How do you like to exercise?

"Outside in the sun. We are fortunate enough to have a garden at home so I've been making my housemates do some HIIT workouts with me outside."

Who is your hero and why?

"My grandad. He's the most kind, polite and caring person I know. He has lived an amazing life and got a huge family to show for it. I always try to draw qualities from him to apply to my own life."

What would your last meal on earth would be?

"My mum's chicken pasta bake."

What famous role would you like to play?

"James Bond. Or whoever his slightly less good looking, smaller brother is."

Football or rugby?

"International rugby and club football."

You'd think all this time in lockdown would have helped me improve my cooking, but we are yet to see....

Tell us something about yourself we don’t know?

"I did circus training for five years at boarding school."

Preferred mode of transport?

"Car. However if I’m on holiday, I love a boat trip."

What super power do you wish you had?

"To be able to instantly cook all types of food perfectly. Chef Osterfield. You'd think all this time in lockdown would have helped me improve my cooking, but we are yet to see...."
