Charlotte Tilbury: Four mask-friendly make-up looks for autumn

Need a little help creating a warm autumnal make-up look? We asked Sarah Jane Wai, a national pro make-up artist at Charlotte Tilbury, for her top four mask-friendly make-up tips.

The way we do our make-up is changing and it’s not just for the new season. With face coverings becoming part of our everyday lifestyle and lips taking a back seat, it’s time to get creative with your lids and lashes.

Eyes to Mesmerise in Star Gold

Apply a wash of this bronze-gold cream shadow all over the eyelid and blend along the lower lash line using Charlotte’s Smudger brush.

Instant eye palette in Starry Eyes to Hypnotise

Apply the palette’s champagne-pink Prime shade beneath the brow bone, followed by the rosy-copper Enhance shade on the centre of the lid and along the lash line. Complete the look by contouring the outer corner of the eye using the matte, deep pink Smoke shade.

Glowgasm palette in Lightgasm

Sweep the bronzer beneath the cheekbones, along the hairline and jawline, and down the nose. Then, glide the glowing highlighter shade onto your cheekbones. For a finishing touch, blot the pinky-gold blush shade on to your cheeks.

Hollywood lips in Rising Star

Finally, apply this warm, pinky-nude shade all over the lips using the Hug applicator to help maximise the size and enhance the shape of your lips, so you’re ready for those moments when you’re free to remove the mask.
