Dream of Shanghai Supper Club with Jason Li

On 2 and 9 October, special guest chef Jason Li – renowned in the UK as an ambassador of Shanghainese food and culture – will be sizzling his way into the kitchen to create platefuls of culinary delights during this exclusive two-day supper club.

Jason will be plating up a host of delicious, mouth-watering dishes including Three-Day Dry-Aged Canton Roast Duck, Dream of Shanghai Spring Onion Pancake and the Deep-Fried Soft Shell Crabs with Crab Roe Infused Jasmine Rice topped with Gold Leaves.

Li, who works in a five-star hotel by day, curates these exclusive under-the-radar supper clubs by night. He has previously worked at Hakkasan and a number of other top-tier London establishments such as Min Jiang at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington and The Dorchester on Park Lane. For almost two decades he has honed his craft creating menus for private dinners and gaining a loyal following for his supper clubs. Jason’s love for cooking started at a young age, when he would help his mother in the kitchen as she hosted private dinners for celebrities including Jackie Chan and Sir David Tang.
