This thriving city has been chosen as the Italian Capital of Culture for 2020
The city of Parma, just 15 minutes from Fidenza Village, is renowned globally for its opera, architecture, art and – as the birthplace of Parmesan cheese and Parma ham – gastronomy. This thriving city has now been chosen by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities as Italian Capital of Culture 2020, an initiative that aims to enhance the city’s historical assets and landscape and improve its modern services.
Fidenza Village is proud to be a member of the Parma2020 committee and contribute, as an ambassador of the province, to promoting the Italian Capital of Culture beyond national borders and throughout all 11 Villages of The Bicester Village Shopping Collection in Europe and China.
To celebrate this outstanding recognition for Parma, Fidenza Village will host 12 months of cultural events and activations in support of the city, its people and institutions, as well as showcasing Parma as a destination to its domestic and international guests.
