Flowers to brighten your look and awaken your emotions
It’s scientifically proven that flowers – thanks to their colours, scents and symmetry – make us feel better. So, in a season when petals bloom on dresses, bags and accessories, getting dressed becomes almost therapeutic.

"I draw flowers every day on my iPhone and send them to my friends so they get fresh flowers every morning." Artist David Hockney's quote takes on special meaning today. Perhaps because after weeks of confinement we appreciate the beauty of flowers in a different way. We’re also reminded of the power of nature through the medium of fashion this summer, with collections featuring an array of striking floral prints. At La Roca Village you’ll find tiny petals, digital floral prints, natural shapes, organic, sensual lines, green tones and even tropical leaves to transport us to faraway places during this time of confinement.
The floral dresses you’ll want to wear
“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” While Miranda Priestly’s now iconic quote from the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada does ring true, it’s also true that the florals we see are never the same, and the silhouettes are switched up every year. In one of the strangest summers so far, floral mini and midi dresses are on trend. But this year, the fashion pack’s favourite has to be the floaty, romantic dress, whether falling below the knee or right down to the ankle. And we’ve never needed the joy of dressing and dreaming through fashion, with wild flowers or Liberty prints, more. The best part? They’re comfortable and easy to accessorise. Worn with espadrilles and a basket bag, they have a bohemian feel; paired with strappy sandals and a shoulder strap bag, they become sophisticated and smart – perfect for an afternoon in the city.
